Sean Sutton
Sean Sutton, owner/appraiser at Cornerstone Appraisal Services, LLC, is a fully licensed, State Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser that has been licensed for over 13 years, and began his apprentice prior to finishing college in the early 2000's. Sean provides trusted commercial and residential appraisal reports to many clients in southwest Missouri. Sean is also a licensed real estate agent in the state of Missouri.
Sean served as a board member on the Greene County Board of Equalization for five years and is active in the local Kiwanis Club.
Sean's valuation specialties include an emphasis on residential development, both condominium and detached units as well as mid-market, industrial, office and retail space.
On the commercial side, Sean has experience in appraising churches, veterinary clinics, chain restaurants, apartment complexes, lease analysis, commercial strip centers, office complexes, special use properties, historic sites, industrial and manufacturing facilities, farms and commercial land.
On the residential side, Sean has worked on numerous projects appraising high end to mid market condominium complexes in both Springfield and Branson. Sean's detached residential experience ranges from large estate work in both Branson and Springfield Missouri, as well as low and mid-market housing all over southwest Missouri. Sean has experience with REO appraisals and ERC / Relocation appraisals.
Sean is comfortable in the courtroom and has worked for numerous attorneys giving testimony as an expert witness for divorce and estate litigation on commercial and residential properties in both state court and federal bankruptcy court.
Sean and his wife Brooke live in Springfield and have three children, Brett who is 15, Karaline who is 11 and Henry who is 7. Sean grew up on a farm in Ava, Missouri where his Dad is still an active real estate agent/broker at
Action Realty. Sean and his Dad have a cow-calf operation in Ava. Sean's introduction to real estate appraisal began with his Mom who is a retired General Certified Review Appraiser, (RPRA), that severed as a Senior Appraiser for the Federal Government for 30 years. Sean still utilizes his Mom as a sounding board from time to time and is grateful for guidance over the years.
